Community Pottery Studio, Liskeard

MAKE. CONNECT. CREATE.

About The Clay Haven

The Clay Haven CIC is a welcoming community pottery studio rooted in Cornwall’s clay country — a place to slow down, get your hands muddy, and make something meaningful.

Founded by ceramicist Claire Menear, The Clay Haven exists to bring people together through clay.

We believe creativity is not a luxury, but a vital part of wellbeing, connection, and community life.

Our studio is designed to be open, inclusive, and accessible: a calm, supportive space where beginners and experienced makers alike can learn, practice, and belong.

More than a studio, The Clay Haven is a shared space for making, meeting, and re-connecting — with materials, with place, and with each other.
