Looking for a welcoming space to develop your pottery practice? I'm delighted to let you know that we have now opened our Open Access Membership at The Clay Haven, Liskeard.

Our brand new community pottery studio offers a beautiful, welcoming workspace, with firing equipment and facilities available on site — giving you the freedom to develop your practice in a relaxed and supportive environment.

What's Included?

Members will also have access to a wide range of communal tools, workboards and a selection of ‘house’ dipping glazes and underglazes to support your making. As a studio member, you’ll have your own dedicated shelf space to store your own tools, glazes, and ongoing projects, so you can really settle into the studio and make it your own. Clay and firings are charged separately to fairly reflect the amount used by each member. Clay can be purchased at the studio.

The Clay Haven is very much a growing, evolving space. We currently have two pottery wheels available, with more equipment and resources to be added in the next phase of development. By joining at this stage, you’ll be part of shaping the studio as it grows into something truly special.

Open Access Membership is £80 per month, giving you access to up to 8 studio sessions per month, which you can book on to flexibly around your schedule. Open access sessions will be available to book on:

• Tuesdays 6-9pm

• Wednesdays 10am-1pm and 2-5pm

• Thursdays 2-5pm

• Saturdays 10am-1pm

• Sundays 2-5pm

What Happens Next?

We now have just 6 membership spaces available. You can join now using the link below and start booking your sessions in straight away through our simple online booking system.

Membership will operate on a rolling monthly basis, with 30 days’ notice required for cancellation. Please note, these are not taught sessions, but are intended for those with some experience who wish to work on your practice independently. A member of staff will always be on site though to assist you and answer questions.
